CNO Financial Group Sr. IT Support Associate - HYBRID - Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida
Web Benefits Design (WBD), an Optavise/CNO company is hiring a Sr. IT Support Associate to be responsible for the deployment, maintenance and on-going management of the IT support environment. This includes aiding in managing WBD’s 3rd party Help Desk support company for the common day-to-day Help Desk needs in addition to serving as the local hands-on support.
As a Sr. IT Support Associate, your responsibilities include:
Serve as the escalation contact for technical support within the organization
Act as a local technical resource
Help manage the outsourced 3rd party help desk support company
Provide remote troubleshooting for a geographically dispersed employee population
Administer and maintain the Active Directory domain
Assist in the administration of VoIP phone system
Identify and suggest possible improvements on processes and procedures
Assist WBD colleagues and staff, in troubleshooting and resolving issues
Travel to remote client locations to provide IT support to WBD employees and contractors
Create, maintain and present IT related support material for WBD employees and contractors using IT managed assets and systems
Serve as a liaison between the various groups responsible for correcting technology problems when they impact the remote workforce conducting Open Enrollments to ensure the minimal amount of downtime and business impact as possible
The Sr. IT Support Associate position is well-suited for you if you have:
Skills in administering users, groups, and computers in Active Directory
Demonstrate a solid understating of VoIP Telephony Systems
Structured problem-solving skills; significant experience using systematic and fact-based processes to determine root cause and improve operations and support for mission critical
Good skills in information security protocols and their practical application in the enterprise and ability to initiate and participate in internal projects in support of strategic and operational goals' ability
Knowledge of backup/restore/disaster recovery principles and their applications
Ability to work in a cross functional environment with minimal supervision
Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to interact with both IT and non-technical end users
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or 8 years of relevant experience as an equivalent
Strong understanding of VMWare, Jira, and Print Servers preferred
Strong knowledge of networking systems & network protocols with the ability to troubleshoot network wiring, basic network equipment (switches, routers access points)
At least 3 years of experience in a professional IT support setting, and should include experience in:
VoIP Telephony Systems
Microsoft Office – SharePoint
IMAP, POP3, SMTP, and Windows 7 PCs
