CNO Financial Group EDI Account Executive - Remote in US based Central or Eastern Time Zones in Orlando, Florida
CNO Financial Group is hiring an EDI Account Executive to join the Data Connections Department, supporting all phases of EDI implementation in the Ben Admin Total Access Exchange enrollment platform. This client-facing position will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving enrollment and EDI errors in 834 and other proprietary transactional formats for insurance exchanges and performing root cause analysis. The EDI Account Executive will also be responsible for discrepancy management in the eligibility reconciliation process and continuous process improvement of the reconciliation process. He/she may be required to provide training on the transactions and on the reconciliation processes to clients and/or newly hired employees.

You’ll be a subject matter expert on best practices related to carrier integration, payroll integration, and interpretation of appropriate regulations regarding PI data and benefit design. You’ll utilize your in-depth knowledge of worksite benefit carriers to communicate with key stakeholders and drive smart decisions.
As an EDI Account Executive, you will:
Participate in all phases of EDI implementations (initiation, build, test, production).
Perform testing and thoroughly document progress and issues.
Monitor inbound and outbound documents (including TPA agreements).
Oversee that file discrepancies are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Review documented training material for accuracy and assist in end user training and support.
Consult with the client on how EDI integrations flow.
Support decisions on EDI structures using customization for each client set-up, based upon the unique needs of the customer.
Manage EDI project integration.
Supervise client data and provide updated status and reports during client weekly calls.
The EDI Account Executive position is well-suited for you if:
You can understand and interpret benefit plans and Summary Plan Documents.
You have knowledge of 834 X12 standards, including working and coding 834 files.
You know the process for reconciliation of enrollment transactions.
You are solution-oriented, committed to detail, and can prioritize and reprioritize tasks.
You have excellent written and oral communication skills and can communicate complex and technical concepts to varying audiences.
You have testing knowledge and project management skills.
Qualified candidates will have:
A Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of experience with EDI and data management.
Employee benefits, benefits administration platforms, and/or project/implementation management.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or administration.
Expert level knowledge with Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook.

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
