CNO Financial Group Senior Account Management Associate-Remote in Central or Eastern Time Zone in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
CNO's worksite division is hiring a is hiring a Senior Account Management Associate who is responsible for creating long-term, trusting customer relationships with a portfolio of moderately sized clients.
After the initial sale, and post implementation, the Senior Account Management Associate will act as the lead point of contact with the client.
In this capacity, the Senior Account Management Associate will act as an advocate on the client’s behalf and ensure that the client remains successful with their Worksite solution. The Senior Associate will be the primary liaison between the client and Worksite Sales and Implementation resources.
Key measures of success will be client retention, utilization of the solution by the client’s members and adherence to best practices, ability to create client references, and the ability to upsell / support additional sales within the client.
Senior Account Management Associate’s responsibilities will include:
Understanding long-term business and benefits strategy objectives and ensure relevant resources are aligned.
Facilitating communication initiatives to meet engagement goals and address Client’s benefits strategy.
Identifying, initiating and closing new upsell / cross sales opportunities to existing Clients.
Ensuring that internal delivery resources are engaging Clients appropriately and in a timely matter.
Tracking to ensure that the client’s key objectives are being met.
Being viewed as a trusted advisor across client stakeholders and leadership, while regularly engage with clients’ key executives and operations team members.
Responsibility for ongoing value-focused reporting and communications with the Client and ensuring that the client is aware of product and service advances underway.
Playing a key role internally in ensuring that the Product Development, Implementation, and Sales teams are kept apprised of any news or developments that warrant their involvement.
Addressing risks swiftly and communicating effectively with sales and leadership appropriately for involvement/mitigation.
Leading contract renewal negotiations (typically between $100k - $500k).
The Sr. Account Mgmt. Associate position is well-suited for you if you have:
A successful track record of selling to and servicing mid-market and large self-insured employers.
Experience following the tenants of Trusted Advisor to clients, including being a critical thinker to foster sound business-focused decision making.
Good knowledge of sales methodologies and applicable skillsets.
Solid organizational skills; ability to manage multiple Clients and initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to collaborate both with internal and Client resources to find solutions.
Capability of being introduced during the sales process and make a positive impression with a prospect.
Solid ability to effectively write, listen and orally communicate professionally; Ability to present to large groups.
Must be able to travel.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
Three + years of proven client-focused experience in the benefits, brokers, and / or Health Care industry.
Experience in benefits administration systems preferred.

CNO Financial Group offices are reopening in April 2022 and we will be pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60 mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
