CNO Financial Group Sr. Accounts Coordinator - Remote from any US based location in central or eastern time zones in Chicago, Illinois

CNO Financial Group’s Consumer Business Unit is hiring a Senior Accounts Coordinator who will provide advanced processing support to Financial Representatives (FRs) and Investment Advisors (IAs) on opening and maintenance of client accounts, concerns or matters pertaining to but not limited to submitting business and finding and completing forms. This is a position that will work directly with the BLS Director of Operations by identifying procedural and platform enhancement that will streamline process, procedures, and technology platforms. In addition, this senior - role will serve as a resource for BLS Accounts Coordinators.

As a Sr. Accounts Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with other departments within Bankers Life Securities, Inc. (BLS)/Bankers Life Advisory Services, Inc. (BLAS) as well as Bankers Life and Casualty Company (BLC) on procedures and related business.

  • Main point person (operations) for inquiries from other BLS/BLAS and BLC departments.

  • Reviewing escalated issues from other Account Coordinators. In addition, escalate service issues when necessary.

  • Monitor not in good order (NIGO) rates, identify opportunities to reduce errors and inefficiencies.

  • Able to identify when new and existing account processing falls outside of SLA. Coordinate with Director of Operations to resolve.

  • Tracking progress in relation to departmental goals for quality & productivity and pending business to maintain SLA levels.

  • Creating/update procedures, job aids and guides.

  • Supporting the Director of Operations as necessary with various projects.

  • Preparing communications and/or training for the field.

  • Providing administrative support to financial representatives and investment advisors by processing new account applications, obtaining necessary documents, resolving inquiries, and handling account transfers. Identify when firm falls outside of SLA, strategize and resolve.

The Sr. Accounts Coordinator position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Have effective and professional oral and written communication skills.

  • Can multi-task by researching multiple systems and entering data while talking to customers.

  • Are customer-focused and team-oriented.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of Pershing’s NetX360 platform preferred.

  • Have effective time management and interpersonal skills.

  • Maintaining current knowledge of corporate policies, products and departmental procedures and to recommend enhancement when appropriate. Work with management to communicate updates.

  • Reviewing paperwork through appropriate processing queues within Pershing’s NetX360 platform.

  • Identifying enhancement opportunities and partner with Director of Operations to implement if appropriate.

  • Communicate with FRs and IAs regarding not in good order (NIGO) paperwork to quickly reach a resolution.

  • Support the Pershing DBS Team to scan and index new accounts, cashiering and trading documents as needed.

  • Assisting with prepping and processing of mail.

What you’ll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.

  • Two years of securities Industry or equivalent financial services experience required

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and is pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
