CNO Financial Group Service Center Sr. Specialist, Broker Dealer - REMOTE from any US based location in central or eastern time zones in Chicago, Illinois

CNO's Consumer Business Unit is hiring a Service Center Sr. Specialist, Broker Dealer to provides consistent customer service and support to a network of Financial Advisors (FA) regarding questions, concerns or matters such as submitting applications, finding and completing forms, account maintenance, general inquiries and resolving issues. In this role, you will interact with all levels of the BLS team as well as potential and current public customers on questions pertaining to their securities and/or advisory accounts.

As a Service Center Sr. Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Answer incoming Financial Advisors (FAs) and customer service calls for Bankers Life Securities (BLS) products and services.

  • Receive, evaluate, and respond to customer inquiries.

  • Research inquires and respond in a professional manner within specified timeframes.

  • Maintain current knowledge of corporate policies, products and departmental procedures. Updates will be communicated from management but maintaining and applying this knowledge is required on the part of the Service Center Analyst.

  • Assist Financial Advisors with the preparation of documentation or paperwork needed to support sales execution.

  • Maintain departmental goals for quality & productivity.

  • Interact with management, customers, Financial Advisors, and other internal departments on all customer service-related issues.

  • Escalate service issues when necessary.

  • Maintain the Bankers Life Securities Financial Advisors Maintain email addresses to further support Financial Advisors on account opening and handling procedures.

The Service Center Sr Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Demonstrate effective and professional oral and written communication skills.

  • Exhibit an ability to multi-task by researching multiple systems and entering data while talking to customers.

  • Are customer focused and team oriented.

  • Recognize when a customer complaint is being initiated and alert compliance.

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • At least 2 years of customer service and/or call center experience.

  • FINRA Series, 7, 63 REQUIRED

  • Other licenses: Series 24,26,51,53, 65 and 66 are preferred licenses

  • Securities Industry or equivalent financial services experience preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of CRM systems preferred.

This is a senior, non-exempt position.

CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022, and we will be pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando, and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
