CNO Financial Group Benefits Admin System Solution Consultant-Remote in Central or Eastern Time Zone in Chicago, Illinois

CNO is seeking a Sr Solution Consultant (SSC) to make our solutions come alive for our prospects and partners. This role will be heavily focused on our Benefits Administration (Ben Admin) solution but not limited to this service. The SSC will work with the Sales team and our Broker partners to understand the requirements, objectives, and deficiencies of the prospects current solution to demonstrate our solution in a way that the prospect can visualize being used in their business. The SSC will be a key part of the Sales organization working primarily with the Regional Sales Directors and must be comfortable working with a wide cross section of others in the organization including Product, Marketing, Development, and Account Management. The SSC must also be comfortable working with HR/Benefits Brokers and Consultants.

As a Sr Solution Consultant your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the sales team in verifying system functionality can support client structure (including both system configuration and payroll/carrier file feeds).

  • Find unique solutions to a client’s specific needs using the existing functionality of the platform.

  • Examine all potential downstream dependencies and impacts of a potential solution.

  • Work with Regional Sales Directors in completing technical sections of RFI’s and RFP’s.

  • Identify product/process gaps – both with client’s existing vendor as well as the Optavise proposed solution.

  • Collaborate with product development team in product roadmap, new features & functionality, and testing/release.

  • Support the Regional Sales Director in the preparation of prospective client meetings.

  • Instill a sense of confidence that we can easily move the prospect from a demo to production.

  • Translate client requirements to our services team during the Sales to Services handoff.

  • Travel up to 50%

The Sr Solution Consultant position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Confidently facilitate benefits business processes, Ben Admin system capabilities, and system configuration.

  • Feel comfortable presenting to a diverse group of individuals and addressing questions from a business, operations, and technical audience.

  • Demonstrate ability to positively influence sales “wins”.

  • Skilled in demonstrations and illustrating a solution that addresses gaps and needs.

  • Drive change and collaborate.

  • Show expertise with technology and SaaS solutions.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6 years directed related experience.

  • Experience with Benefits administration systems.

  • 2 years of experience with presenting SaaS to C Suite and technical experts.

CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022, and we will be pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando, and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
