CNO Financial Group Sr. Systems Analysis Consultant in Carmel, Indiana
CNO Financial Group is hiring a Sr. Systems Analysis Consultan t to act as a specialized expert by demonstrating systems mastery of at least one enterprise business function/business unit, and has a deep understanding of business functions and processes. This role is an expert of several systems (typically at least 15) across multiple business areas. The role will lead efforts for complex projects and will lead the scoping, estimation and solutioning of new systems or system enhancements.

As a Sr. Systems Analysis Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
Leading process and workflow design.
Defining integration models.
Creating technical user stories to define requirements related to system interfaces, data retrieval and retention, request/response mechanisms
Defining requirements related to scalability, user growth, concurrency requirements that are foundational in nature for the delivery team architect the right solution
Retrieving, analyzing, modeling and interpreting data using different tools and techniques into useable recommendations. Creating data definitions and mapping.
Work within high limits and authority on assignments requiring high technical complexity and coordination
Serve as a knowledge expert on the creation and maintenance of highly technical documentation for new and existing systems
Mentor and coach more junior System Analysts and Consultants and coordinate the activities within business function
The Sr. Systems Analysis Consultant position is well-suited for you if you have:
In-depth of technology concepts i.e. applications, databases, browsers, etc.
Strong understanding of architecture standards and ability support those directions with solutioning
Advanced understanding of computing concepts and paradigms (i.e. web-based app, integrations, networking, etc.)
High level of communication and diplomacy skills to direct, persuade, and influence others, particularly at senior levels within the function
Solid technical knowledge of IT business systems and how they integrate with corresponding business area supported
Ability to build on knowledge of the organization, its processes, and customers to provide recommendations regarding system solutions
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or 8 years experience as equivalent
7 years of related work experience
Demonstrated experience working with a large delivery team supporting and developing mission critical applications
5+ years Agile experience
What will set you apart:
Insurance industry experience
Experience with the following systems- Pega, Business Objects, Tableau, MuleSoft, ArchiMate, Jira, SQL
Extensive experience with integrations and backend services.
This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and is pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
