CNO Financial Group Sr. Pega Business Architect, REMOTE from any US based location in central or eastern time zones in Carmel, Indiana
CNO Financial Group’s IT unit is hiring a Senior Pega Business Architect who has detailed knowledge on Pega and its application to IT business areas. The Sr. Pega Business Architect will also ensure the Pega system fits the enterprise environment and is meeting business requirements. They will develop test plans and test cases and provides input on test case strategy and input into process re-designs recommendations. They will also work within significant limits and authority on assignments requiring high technical complexity and coordination.

As a Senior Pega Business Architect , your responsibilities will include:
Captures information to analyze business needs and document requirements to support Pega implementation.
Ensures the Pega system fits the enterprise environment and is meeting business requirements.
Develops test plans and test cases and provides input on test case strategy; provides input into process re-designs recommendations.
Uses a diverse variety of internal and external sources (such as procedures and practices in other areas or companies) to provide recommended resolutions.
Models inter- and intra- business relationships and perspectives (Target Operating Model, Capability Model, and Function Model).
Brings together and understands the business processes associated with the business problem being solved and the solution to be implemented.
Partners with Product Owner to compile, deliver, and maintain product backlog consisting of user stories and supporting documentation
Ensures delivered work product meet/perform to functional requirements by communication of business requirements to the application architect.
Independently writes Pega application specific based user stories.
The Senior Pega Business Architect position is well-suited for you if you have:
Solid understanding of Pega BPM platform and Case Management
Experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH)
Understanding of Pega out of the box features - GetNext, SLAs, assignments, routing, work queues
Knowledge of Pega DCO capabilities and out of the box reporting capabilities, BIX, delegated rules
Can demonstrate appropriate Methodology & DCO tools and techniques
Have used Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or in related disciple; or 8 years of relevant experience
5 years work experience in Pega domain
Pega Certified Business Architect certification (CBA)
Experience with Pega Decision Hub (CDH)
What will set you apart:
Pega Certified Systems Architect
2 years work experience in Insurance, Financial Services or regulated industry
This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and are encouraged to come into the office at least twice per month.
