CNO Financial Group Sr Marketing Sales Activation Analyst in Carmel, Indiana
CNO Financial Group’s Marketing Unit is hiring a Sr. Marketing Sales Activation Analyst to help oversee, create and promote marketing initiatives to the sales force for the company’s worksite division. This highly engaging and articulate individual whose core responsibilities are to work in a consultative fashion with exclusive agent teams to activate enrollment campaigns & prospecting programs; provide education and insight around CNO product offerings and third-party product offerings; and provide localized prospecting and personal brand awareness tools and resources to support sales growth and field engagement.

As a Sr. Marketing Sales Activation Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Plan and coordinate the development of communication and marketing tactics for the worksite division by developing strong cross-functional partnerships with internal departments supporting the field leadership, recruiting and training partners, and creative, photography, web, video, social and public relations.
Manage local prospecting and robust digital presence programs. Responsibilities include developing, planning, and overseeing ongoing system enhancements, programming efficiencies, advertising development, and reporting. Success to be measured by usage, adoption, and organic lead generation.
Effectively develop strategy, budget, timeline, and tactics for marketing projects as assigned.
Deliver engaging, concise copy to drive marketing and sales initiatives as it relates to point-of-sale resources, custom enrollment material, sales presentations, agent training, marketing campaigns, recruiting strategies, memos, direct mail advertising, and video scripts.
Support brand standards for Washington National, Optavise, and other worksite affiliated brands by providing expert directional advice on copywriting and editing to internal departments to ensure the voice/message of the communication project is audience-appropriate and reflective of the company and its products.
Support the worksite branded merchandise store including merchandise selection, inventory management, promotion, and accounting.
Manage detailed communication process through data management system (Tracker).
Manage approval process by facilitating relationships throughout the company as it relates to field marketing, product, advertising, and recruiting practices.
The Sr. Marketing Sales Activation Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:
Have worked closely with leadership, senior field leaders, directors, marketing communications managers, and field support to drive the development of merchandising, advertising, and promotional projects from a communications plan, promoting product exposure and driving sales.
Maintain strong relationship skills: demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to initiate and maintain executive-level interaction with all program partners; establish and maintain strong relationships, leading regular status meetings and cross-organizational planning activities; launch and coordinate all marketing efforts with appropriate service providers – internal and external creative agencies, in-house online production team and others.
Work with internal recruiting, training, and communications departments to define goals and objectives and gain a better understanding of how results impact business. Must be able to translate that information into a clear, concise, and compelling message.
You serve as a subject matter expert for advertising projects within the worksite business segment. This will require a willingness to stay on top of the latest sales initiatives, regulatory updates, and product-specific sales opportunities.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or related discipline, or equivalent
Seven to ten years of experience in strategic communication, marketing or related field
Three years in a healthcare, insurance, employer benefits program, related industry or other highly regulated field, preferred
Excellent level of proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and is pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60 mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
