CNO Financial Group Sr Marketing Communications Analyst in Carmel, Indiana

CNO Financial Group is hiring a Sr. Marketing Communication Analyst to build and promote marketing initiatives to the broker sales force for the company’s worksite brands. This individual will partner in a consultative fashion with exclusive agent teams and brokers to activate strategic campaigns through constructing sales messaging, digital marketing, and recruiting to support business goals and prospecting programs. They will also provide education and insight around CNO product offerings and brand awareness tools and resources to simplify sophisticated financial and insurance solutions creatively to resonate with the target market.

As a Sr. Marketing Communication Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of communication tactics for the Worksite division by developing strong cross-functional partnerships by developing positive relationships with internal departments supporting the field organization including senior leadership, field leadership, legal, finance, and creative services.

  • Developing, writing, editing, and managing a variety of traditional and online marketing messages and communication pieces including point-of-sale product brochures, customer guides, sales presentations, agent training, websites, marketing campaigns, articles, memos, PowerPoint presentations, direct-mail advertising, and online video scripts to drive marketing and sales objectives.

  • Serving as the brand ambassador through collaboration skills, copywriting, editing, project coordination, and overall project management for sales and business goals.

  • Conducting market research for the development and editorial planning for websites, social media, and visual media marketing supplying to internal and external audiences and channels.

  • Delivering business intelligence through the creation of reports to deliver the analysis and metrics on the success of marketing strategies.

  • Managing meetings as required by product marketing and corporate sales to include presenting marketing materials, presentations, brainstorming concepts, and other deliverables as needed.

  • Serving as the gatekeeper through a detailed communication process and data management system

The Sr. Marketing Communication Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in communication principles to effectively develop strategy, budget, timeline, and tactics for multiple brands and subsidiaries focused on worksite product sales and the customer experience through employee enrollment.

  • Can translate project-related information into a clear, concise, and compelling message, and identify audience channels.

  • Collaborate with internal recruiting, training, and communications departments to define goals and objectives for sales success.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and finesse to "manage by influence" with strong conceptual, written, and oral presentation skills

  • Present strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with bias toward action.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships using excellent communication skills to initiate executive-level interaction with all program partners; lead status meetings and cross-organizational planning activities; manage all marketing efforts with service providers – internal and external creative agencies, in-house production team, and other business areas.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related area

  • 5-7 years of proven experience with planning, developing, and implementing marketing-related activities.

  • Insurance Broker relationship experience

  • Experience developing communications plans, strategy, media and tactics, as part of an outreach or education campaign

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and are encouraged to come into the office at least twice per month.
