Salary Range : $77,100 - $115,700 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.

CNO Financial Group’s 40|86 Advisors are hiring a Sr Investment Reporting Analyst to internally with, but not limited to IT, Operations, Portfolio Managers, various audit and examining groups to design and implement processes, systems and controls enabling continued scale of the portfolio over time. You will prepare various deliverables for both internal and external financial reporting needs.

This is your opportunity to take ownership, identify process improvement opportunities for existing processes and drive positive change across the organization.

As a Sr Investment Reporting Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching, creating, and developing investment reports on various fixed income investment types.

  • Effectively communicate with portfolio managers, clients, and other departments to respond to requests and ad hoc reports on various, often complex topics.

  • Analyzes investment results at granular levels to support asset class and legal entity reporting.

  • Prepare, analyze and report detailed expense reporting, including tracking actual performance against budget and forecast by account, cost center, function and project.

  • Prepare and analyze information for inclusion in monthly internal business review materials.

  • Prepare and analyze other quarterly reporting in support of internal and external management meetings.

  • Analyze key performing metrics and providing strategic insights based on the analysis.

  • Work well with all levels of the organization.

What you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

  • Three years of related experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Points skills.

What will set you apart:

  • CPA, CFA and/or financial designation preferred.

This role is affiliated to the Carmel, IN corporate office, and candidates for this role need to reside within a 60-mile radius of that corporate office and will be required to come into that office.
