CNO Financial Group Sr Agent Tech Support Specialist in Carmel, Indiana

CNO Financial Group is hiring a Sr Agent Tech Support Specialist to service agent inquiries including moderately complex to complex software questions and issues. The Sr Tech Support Specialist recognizes the need for occasional deviations from standard practices and can take a proactive approach in resolving real-time technical issues.

This is your opportunity to use information provided by the agent to triage potential issues and provide solutions or education on the process, acting as a main point of contact for agents and will be responsible for following up with resolutions.

As a Sr Agent Tech Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshoot moderately complex to complex technical issues over the phone, by email, or by Zoom/Microsoft Teams to assist with software setups and/or to resolve software related problems.

  • Provide guidance and solutions to resolve field issues with sales technology tools. Recognizes the need for occasional deviations from standard practices.

  • Analyze call logs to spot common trends and underlying issues and provide direction.

  • Respond to emails that are received into the technical support queues.

  • Provide input into new initiatives and avenues of communication including but not limited to chatbots, email, and text.

  • Analyze, identify, and report software issues to subject matter experts and IT partners, as needed.

  • Serve as a back-up Lead Agent Tech Support Specialist.

  • Contribute on small projects and minor software enhancements.

  • Assist with testing sales technology tools and software updates.

The Sr Agent Tech Support Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Possess outstanding initiative, work ethic, and flexibility.

What you’ll need:

  • High School Diploma is required.

  • Three years of customer service or field services experience, including basic software support experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or related software is required.

What will set you apart:

  • Associate’s degree is preferred.

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and are encouraged to come into the office at least twice per month.
