CNO Financial Group Sr Administrative Assistant Onsite Carmel, IN in Carmel, Indiana

CNO Financial Group’s 40|86 Advisors are hiring a Sr Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support to a department or group of professionals.

This is your opportunity to provide complete support to the VP and management staff as assigned.

As a Sr Administrative Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Type reports, memos, letters and other documents.

  • Prepare important documents and presentation materials in PowerPoint.

  • Answer/screen phone calls and take messages.

  • Set-up and clean-up before and after meetings.

  • File/scan/copy/email/print documents.

  • Sort, distribute mail.

  • Send, receive and distribute FedEx/UPS packages.

  • Scheduling of Call/Video conferences, booking conference rooms/hoteling space and calendar management.

  • Book flight, hotel, ground transportation.

  • Register executives for conferences and seminars.

  • Create, submit expense reports for business trips, business meetings, seminars, trainings, exams, company and individual dues, etc.

  • Manage Infolinx off site storage.

  • Assist with mortgage origination loan procedures such as, creation of loan binder, uploading documents to P8, and preparation of letters, etc.

  • Filing private placement documents.

  • Serve as back-up for other AA.

  • Prepare and distribute agendas or other meeting materials as necessary.

  • Ensure smooth functioning of the department by monitoring levels of, and ordering as necessary, office supplies; making and tracking service calls for malfunctioning equipment; routing paper checks, paper files, and other correspondence to the proper department personnel, etc.

The Sr Administrative Assistant position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Are a self-motivated individual with a polished, professional disposition, and organizational skills.

  • Hold the ability to interact well with internal and external clients.

  • Have superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Are energetic, driven and resourceful.

  • Possess the ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Three years of related work experience.

  • Executive management support experience preferred.

  • Notary Public preferred.
