CNO Financial Group Senior Worksite Administrator-Remote in Central or Eastern Time Zone in Carmel, Indiana

CNO Financial Group’s Worksite team is hiring a Senior Worksite Administrator to perform day-to-day premium reconciliation and other financial and non-financial worksite transaction processing activities. The Senior Worksite Administrator is responsible for analyzing, reconciling, and applying premium payments from our large case employer groups in a timely and efficient manner. They serve as single point of contact for Worksite employer groups by providing white glove service for all incoming employer calls and emails. Role receives and or identifies all policy level maintenance changes that are received or required on the policies or certificates, and updates policy accordingly.

As a Senior Worksite Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reconcile and apply premium on a high volume of large case employer bills in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Perform maintenance transactions related to bill reconciliation.

  • Reconcile group billing against payroll register.

  • Perform audits on payment history, policies, and other billing issues.

  • Review and analyze incoming mid to large case group payment documentation, calculate the proper pay modes, reconcile the employer funds received down to the policy/certificate level and apply funds within the billing system.

  • Communicate with Worksite employer groups and agents to obtain additional documentation and identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure that funds are applied correctly. Build working relationships with the specific employer groups that are being special handled.

  • Provide prompt and high-quality customer service to our employer groups and Worksite agents through incoming calls and emails.

  • Identify policy level changes and communications that are required and take the appropriate steps to correct the deductions or obtain the past due premiums.

  • Maintain incoming department work queues to ensure customer requests are processed timely.

  • Coach and mentor Worksite Administrator I and II associates

The Senior Worksite Administrator position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Possess excellent aptitude for figures and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Work both independently and in a team-based environment.

  • Have experience working with billing for high dollar accounts.

  • Research, analyze, and prioritize complex issues.

  • Balance high volume priorities independently and with accuracy.

  • Demonstrate dependably & strong work ethic

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Typically requires a High School Diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business or Accounting.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 4+ years of experience in banking, insurance or accounts receivable/payable.

CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and we will be pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
