CNO Financial Group Product Specialist-REMOTE from any US based location in central or eastern time zones in Carmel, Indiana

CNO is hiring a Product Sales Support Specialist to play a pivotal role in a product's entire life cycle--from conception to completion—helping management make decisions on new product offerings and marketing opportunities to ensure optimal sales results. The role will combine sales, marketing and technical skills to support the design, training and promotion of products for our organization.

As a Product Sales Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with corporate teams and field stakeholders to support the development of essential products for our market while making the products easy to understand.

  • Developing Consumer pieces to promote the products.

  • Providing support to multiple corporate teams for questions on product features, benefits and availability.

  • Providing product support to the field force through phone calls, emails, webinars, proposal help, and on-site visits.

  • Working closely with stakeholders to train the field on marketing campaigns to meet optimal sales lifts.

  • Making recommendations based on data analysis to help product design, delivery and promotion.

  • Overseeing product launch and ongoing sales tracking.

The Product Sales Support Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Understand basic insurance products and sales concepts and ready to be a key expert on the supported products.

  • Have demonstrated expertise with the full Microsoft Office suite, with excellent PowerPoint and Excel presentation skills.

  • Can communicate clearly to a wide variety of audiences both in writing and orally.

  • Have an ability to manage a large library of sales and marketing materials to ensure content is current, correct and available to the sales organization.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field OR 8 years of relevant experience.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing or insurance sales setting.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Able to manage and prioritize work in the fast-paced marketing environment.

  • Proven track record of being a team player.

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and is pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60 mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
