CNO Financial Group is hiring a Portfolio Analyst to provide top down portfolio analysis identifying potential investment risks and opportunities.
This is your opportunity perform detailed analytical and statistical review of investment performance at the investment asset class, strategy composite and account portfolio levels.
As a Portfolio Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Compilation and construction of Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
Responsible for all detailed analytical and evaluative review of specific investments, historical market data and portfolio performance.
Provide top down analysis of portfolio allocation.
Develop, acquire, and maintain key risk and return metrics for distribution to senior management.
Assist in the development and tracking of impactful, environmental and, social investing strategies.
Benchmark portfolio investments to market indices and Peers Design and implement improvements to investment risk management systems.
Responsible for the accuracy of all portfolio and benchmark performance results in alignment with Executive leadership.
Manage relationships with external clients, investment banks, and other third-party investment service providers Interface with other portfolio managers, traders, and analysts within the firm in support of investment decisions.
Analyze and presents earned income by business segment for Senior Management discussions.
Effectively communicate with portfolio managers, clients, and other departments for requests and ad hoc reports on various topics.
The Portfolio Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:
Possess a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Are proficient in Excel.
Have strong business acumen, analysis skills, written and verbal communication.
Exhibit strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritize and collaborate vertically and horizontally in a fast-paced environment.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology or equivalent discipline.
Three years of experience in analysis.
Progress toward graduate degree or professional designation preferred (MBA, CFA, CPA).
Prior experience in trading and/or investments strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Bloomberg preferred.
Current location in or willingness to self-relocate to within 60 miles miles of Carmel, IN or Chicago, IL.
