CNO Financial Group Marketing Communications Analyst- REMOTE from any US based location in central or eastern time zones in Carmel, Indiana
CNO Financial Group is hiring a Marketing Communications Analyst who has the skills to simplify sophisticated financial and insurance solutions in a way that resonates with consumers in our target market. Under minimal technical direction, you will facilitate the creativity and messaging of marketing communication projects associated with broader omni-channel marketing strategies and activation plans. You will serve as a confident resource in constructing and delivering sales and recruiting communication and marketing strategies to support business goals and brand awareness.

As a Marketing Communications Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the development of communication tactics for the Worksite Division by developing strong cross-functional partnerships with internal departments including business unit partners, product development, acquisition marketing and creative design.
Developing, writing, and editing a variety of marketing messages and communication pieces including point-of-sale product brochures, customer guides, sales presentations, agent training, websites, marketing campaigns, articles, memos, PowerPoint presentations, direct mail advertising and video scripts to drive marketing and sales objectives.
Conducting market and competitive research for the development of copy in print, web and visual media marketing projects.
Supporting brand standard efforts through copywriting, editing and project coordination as may be needed for sales and business goals.
Collaborating in a shared service organization to ensure brand consistency in message, tone, design, and execution in all materials.
Supporting onsite client meetings as required by product marketing and corporate sales and marketing to include marketing materials, presentations and other deliverables as needed.
Participating in brainstorming with other members of the marketing group to generate creative campaign strategies and tactics for clients.
Managing the intake process of projects through customized tracking databases and project management platforms
The Marketing Communications Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:
Demonstrate excellent conceptual, writing, oral and presentation skills.
Produce creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, able to use internal and external resources to reach resolution.
Have the ability to research complex insurance information and distill down into easy-to-understand point-of-sale and training materials
Have a demonstrated history of project management, including time management and multi-tasking with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of communication principles to effectively develop strategy, budget, timeline, and tactics for marketing projects as assigned.
Are a curious individual who has a growing desire to understand human behavior as it relates to purchase intent, needs positioning, and drive for action
Ability to absorb job assignments and information quickly, while managing multiple tasks
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
1-3 years of related work experience in a marketing communications role
Experience with planning, developing, and implementing market/public relations activities, including developing communications plans, strategy, messages, media, and tactics as part of an outreach or education campaign

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and are encouraged to come into the office at least twice per month.
