CNO Financial Group Financial Systems Analyst REMOTE from any US based location in central or eastern time zones in Carmel, Indiana

CNO Financial Group’s Accounting and Finance Department is hiring a Financial Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between the business and IT in relation to systems and systems analysis support.

This is your opportunity work directly with internal customers and outside partners to continuously improve accounting and finance systems, making a direct impact on business performance.

As a Financial Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Business process improvement projects, financial data quality and management processes, corporate project system support, and financial reporting support processes.

  • Develop system reports, ad hoc reports, allocation processes, dashboards, and automated calculations.

  • Document business requirements and perform UAT testing.

  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and new or updated software.

The Financial Systems Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Have foundational accounting skills and the ability to apply a chart of accounts to facilitate financial reporting

  • Understand of database concepts and demonstrated ability to apply them in data transformations and analysis

  • Possess intermediate to advanced skills with software programs such as Excel, Access, Alteryx, Tableau, Hyperion, and talent to develop advanced software skills in data transformation, analysis and reporting

  • Work well both independently and effectively with diverse teams.

  • Hold a proven track record of performance.

  • Are a strong communicator with outstanding documentation skills.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology.

  • Three years of accounting experience within ERP and financial reporting systems.

  • Three years of data management experience.

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and is pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60 mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
